Where do you find your creative inspiration?

To me, inspiration can be found everywhere! In a beautiful piece of music, a great art exhibition or even just enjoying the gorgeous gardens on a summer’s day.

However, when we create a bespoke couture gown, its often the bride-to-be herself that is the biggest inspiration. Incorporating the bride’s dreams and ideas, thereby creating a truly unique and personal dream dress for her, that’s is what inspires me the most.

What makes your brand unique and stand out compared to others in the wedding industry?

The great thing about The Couture Gallery being a relatively modest sized and exclusive design house is that I am able to offer a very personal service. As the designer I am always there to guide and assist every single client through the entire process, from first sketch to finished gown.

All my dresses are made at the in house workroom by my team and I to ensure the highest possible standard of work using only the finest materials available today.

I take huge pride in my designs and the work we do here and will always strive to create the perfect dress for every single one of my clients.

In our video I explain the couture process and the The Couture Gallery experience in further detail – you can view it here:

What trends do you predict for 2016?

We will finally a return to the more dramatic shapes and designs. Volumomous, yet elegant gowns, and more is more! Focus will be on exquisite textures like 3D effect laces, lots of trimmings and hand finishes and attention to detail is key.

Most importantly, however, the bride and her dreams are centre of attention. A modern Bride-to-be will play a bigger part in designing and creating exactly the dress that SHE wants rather than go with current trends.

If you could give your bride any piece of advice what would it be?

My advise would be to do your research. Carefully choose the right people and companies to help make your dream come true and the process will fun and exiting.

When all the planning and preparations are done really well, all you have to do on the wedding day is say “YES” and ENJOY this once in a lifetime experience with your loved one.

Why do you think the Quintessentially Weddings Atelier is so special?

Quintessentially Weddings Atelier creates a unique opportunity for brides to see and talk to some of the industry’s finest suppliers all under one roof. A day out enjoying wedding inspiration in the elegant settings of Claridges, sipping champagne and watching the catwalk, what’s not to love?

This is the second time I will be showcasing at the Quintessentially Weddings Atelier, and I am very excited about it. There are some truly amazing people exhibiting and I’m very proud to be a part of this unique showcase.

What can the lovely bride and grooms attending the Atelier expect from you this year?

I’m delighted to unveil some of my latest designs, – a taster of the upcoming Couture collection.

My gowns are all about opulence and a sense of drama. The collection features exquisite 3D-effect French laces, handmade silk flowers and lots of gorgeous detailing, a key look for 2016.

The dresses are made using only the finest silks and every gown features my signature built in corsetry for the perfect figure.
